Precautions of Windsurfing

【Clicks:1414】 【Source:http://www.chinastars.org.cn/index.html

In the summer, many of you rent surfboards. Even if the sun makes us a bit lacking this summer, there is wind, then take the opportunity to rent a windsurfing.

Here are some precautions to take before going:

        • Check your equipment when renting (inventory on the contract). Find out about the conditions of the day as the weather, currents, with the aid station for example. But be aware the sea conditions can change quickly. Also check the flags on the state of the sea.

        • Observe the marked channels that are used to secure your perimeter. Be alert for swimmers and divers to avoid the hit, especially if they do not swim in their swimming area.

        • Put reflective element on windsurfing .Mark the name and address of the owner on the board with reflective fabric. Indeed if it drifts so rescuers know right away that you are not in danger. Then you can return to your windsurfing.

        • Wear a life jacket that allows you to float in the water and a wet suit since the water is very cold, especially if you stay longer. The jacket can better be a hi vis jackets with reflective fabrics on, so that you can be easily spotted when in trouble.

        • Always be careful and evaluate your abilities. So do not take unnecessary risks.

        • Give someone your expected return time.

        • Do not windsurf alone. People who come together with you can help you in case of problems.

        • Do not separate yourself with others. Indeed a group can be spotted more easily than a man in the sea.

Finally we have to understand how to "play" with the wind before heading out to the water. Move accordingly because you have to turn the sail according to the wind. Often we get to go one way but the return is more complicated.

Feel free to take a teacher with you at first.

Now that all these risks were discussed, it remains for us to wish you good rent and good luck!
